Colorado Springs police are on the lookout for a car that was stolen in a carjacking early Tuesday morning.
Police say the call for a reported robbery came in at 2:21 a.m. at 2110 Broadway Street. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 22-year-old victim and his 24-year-old cousin.
In their report to police, the men told police they were at a local bar and were approached by two girls, who asked them for a ride home. The females directed the men to the 2400 block of Broadway Street. While they were all sitting in the vehicle, two Hispanic males surrounded the car. The males told the victims to "Give them everything." The man in the passenger seat was punched in the face and he was told to get out of the car. The man in the driver seat told police he was also told to get out of the car by a man with a black handgun.
The suspects then stole several items from the victims and stole the car. After the crime, the girls were nowhere to be found. Police do not know if the girls were involved in setting up this crime, but they'd like to interview them. They're described as two young Hispanic girls with short brown hair, left eyebrow piercings and three lip piercings, ossibly named Jessica and Emma, and possibly sisters.
The stolen vehicle was described as a 1997 white Ford Taurus, four door. Colorado License Plate 788DAX.
One victim was taken to a local hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
