Three Arrested In Car Break-in Case

Three people have been arrested in connection to at least 22 cases of breaking into cars.

One adult and two juveniles are facing charges in connection to 22 different cases of car break-ins.

A spokesman for the El Paso County Sheriff's Office says the break-ins happened Aug. 12 and Aug. 13 in the Widefield area. The vehicles were south of Fontaine Boulevard and west of Fountain Mesa Road. Investigators say money, electronics, jewelry and two firearms were stolen.

Jovantae Craig, 18, and two juveniles were arrested. Craig is in jail on a $5,000 bond.

One of the juveniles is being held at the Spring Creek Youth Services Center on no bond. The second juvenile was released to a guardian.
