Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
Springs police are searching for three suspects after they robbed the Taste of India. Only 11 News has video of the robbery in progress. The owners are hoping someone will know who these crooks are.
In the video you can see store manager Tajinder Dhillon with a gun to his back being forced to comply with the crooks.
"They put the gun over here, under my head... I tried to turn around toward him and he said, 'turn around' then he told me to lay down on the ground," Dhillon said.
This is the second time the business, located near Flintridge and Academy, has been robbed in the last few years.
Around 8:20 Friday night, the suspects walked into the Taste of India, a restaurant and grocery store, and demanded money and cigarettes. Two were reportedly carrying guns.
They had stocking caps or masks covering their faces and were wearing gloves. One of the suspects had a blue backpack.
The store owner's son says he saw three men running away from the store in the direction of the Starbucks, northward. Police searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
