Police are searching for three suspects behind an armed robbery at a local park.

Springs police say the victim, a teenager, was on his way to visit his mother Thursday evening when he stopped at the Prairie Grass Park on Chapman, near Airport and Murray. While sitting in the park, he was approached by three men. One man pulled out a handgun and hit the victim over the head. The men forced the teen to strip down, then robbed him.

The teen's jeans, sweatshirt, cell phone and wallet were all taken in the robbery. He also sustained a contusion and cut to his head.

The armed suspect has been described as a black man, 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, wearing a long black leather jacket and jeans. Police say he had a full beard at the time of the robbery.

A second suspect has been described as a black man, 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds, wearing a red baseball cap with a white design on it, red short sleeve shirt, and either blue or black pants.

Police do not have an available description of the third suspect, as the victim did not get a good look at him.
