Police are trying to locate the man responsible for a bank robbery on the northeast side of the Springs Monday morning.
The Bank at Briargate, on the 400 block of Chapel Hills Drive, reported the robbery at 10:20 a.m.
Police say the suspect showed the teller a note with his demand, then got away with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was ever seen, and nobody was injured.
The suspect has been described as a middle-aged white male, 45-50 years old, standing about 5-foot-10 or 5-foot-11 with a thin build. He was wearing a yellow polo shirt with dark horizontal stripes, khaki shorts, a white ball cap and glasses at the time of the robbery.
The suspect left on foot in an unknown direction.
