Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
Gun shots rang out on the Springs' east side after a fight at a party escalated early Saturday morning.
According to police, around 5 a.m. a fight broke out at a party in the area of Bijou and Coleridge Avenue, near the intersection of North Academy and East Platte. As two people tried to leave the scene, someone fired shots at their pickup truck, shattering the back window. The victims immediately sped away from the scene. Neither was injured.
At this time, police are trying to identify the suspect(s). If you have any information on this incident, contact police at 444-7000, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP to remain anonymous.
