Shooting Victim Drove Self To Hospital

A shooting victim drove himself to the hospital early Wednesday morning and is now being treated for a non-life threatening wound.

According to police, the male victim was planning to meet a female friend in the area of Galley Rd. and Potter Dr. There, at about 1:16 a.m., the victim was confronted by two men.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and demanded money. The victim got back to his vehicle, but was shot before he could leave.

The suspects are both described as black males, at least 30 years of age. One was 6' tall with an average build and short, braided hair. The other was 5'11' with a heavier build and a light-colored shirt.
