A series of burglaries in the Black Forest area of El Paso County and the southern portion of Douglas County are being investigated as one case. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help solving the crimes.
The Sheriff’s Office says the crimes are usually committed on Mondays and Wednesdays during daylight hours. The suspect gets into the homes through an unlocked door or by forcing their way in.
Items stolen include flat screen televisions, laptop computers, electronic devices such as tablet computers and jewelry.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid thirties, six foot tall, medium build, with brown hair wearing a grey t-shirt and blue jeans. He is believed to drive a silver mid-size car.
Anyone with information about these burglaries or the suspect(s) is asked to contact the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center at 719-390-5555.
