A young girl was approached by a stranger on the southeast side of Colorado Springs. It happened on Wednesday, but police say they didn't find out about it until Thursday.

A girl says she was walking on the 2500 block of Sonoma Drive when a red or maroon SUV with tinted windows drove up to her.

Police say the driver offered her $10 to get into the vehicle. He drove off when a second child came over to the girl.

Cops say the suspect is a white man, bald and in his 30s.

If you know anything about this incident, call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
