Police and a K-9 team have been unable to locate the man behind an armed robbery at a Springs 7-Eleven early Sunday morning.
Threatening the clerk with a gun, the suspect demanded money, and fled the premises once the clerk complied. A perimeter was set up around the store, but a K-9 team was unable to track the suspect down. The robbery occurred just before 5 a.m.
The suspect has been described as a black man dressed in dark clothing, his face concealed by a mask. It's unknown how much money he got away with. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call police, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
The 7-Eleven is located on the 2300 block of South Hancock Expressway.
