Pueblo Police are asking for the your help identifying a man caught on tape during an armed robbery last week.

Police have distributed a surveillance photo taken during the December 28 robbery. They say the Hispanic man walked into the First Stop located at 2101 Norwood just after 11 p.m.

At first, they say, he hesitated and went to the restroom. When he returned to the counter, he was carrying beer, and spent several minutes selecting cigars and other items from behind the counter.

When the clerk asked for the man's identification, he first hesitated, then pulled out a large silver handgun. The suspect reportedly said, "Give me the money."

Police say he ran away with all the cash from the register.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 19-24 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-10 and 130-150 pounds. He was wearing dark pants, a white tee-shirt over a dark gray hoodie, dark shoes and sunglasses.

If you have any information on this robbery you are urged to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP (542-7867) or visit our web site at www.pueblocrimestoppers.com. Your information could earn you a cash reward.
