Police are asking for your help in finding a man accused of robbing a liquor store in Pueblo.
Police say it happened on Saturday, April 16 around 4:10 a.m. A sergeant with the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office came upon what he believed to be a burglary at the Race Stop Liquor store located at 721 N. Grand Ave. and notified the Pueblo police.
When officers arrived, they found that the front window of the business had been shattered. Upon further investigation officers found the front window had been broken from the inside out. Once inside the business they discovered entry had been gained through the roof and over $1,800 worth of cigarettes had been stolen.
Lawrence Garcia has been named the suspect in this case. Lawrence E. Garcia is 45-year old Hispanic male, 5’8” tall, 195 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. Lawrence has multiple tattoos on his hands, shoulder, arms, back and chest.
In addition to Lawrence E. Garcia being wanted for questioning in the burglary of the Race Stop Liquor Store he is also wanted on a felony warrant for Parole Violation for the original charge of assault. According to Det. James Martin Lawrence is considered to have violent tendencies and is know to abuse drugs.
