Robber Armed With Rock Steals Charity Donations From 7-Eleven

A man, armed with a large rock, stole cash and a charity donation jar from a Colorado Springs 7-Eleven early Thursday morning.

Police say no one was injured in the robbery, which occurred just after 3 a.m. on the 2500 block of Delta Drive. The suspect reportedly fled the area on foot, grabbing the charity jar as he ran out of the store.

The suspect has been described as a black man between 30 and 40 years old, medium build. He was wearing a blue running suit, blue bandana on his head and black sunglasses at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call police, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP to remain anonymous.
