Pueblo police are looking for the man seen in this surveillance picture after young girl reported being sexually assaulted in the grocery store.
A 10-year-old girl reported that a man was following her in a grocery store when she was shopping with her father. She had separated from her father while in the store to go to the bakery section when she noticed a man without groceries or a cart walking behind her. She tried to lose him by going to another aisle, but he continued following her. When it appeared he was simply going to pass her, she moved to the side of the aisle to let him go by; as he passed her, he pinched her buttocks.
The girl took off to another aisle while the man went to another, but after a couple of minutes, she encountered him again. The man ran out of the store once the girl yelled, "Daddy, there you are!"
The man has been described as being between 20-25 years old, 5-foot-10 with a skinny build. He has short brown hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a long sleeve flannel shirt with blue and white horizontal stripes, dark blue jeans and dark gray tennis shoes at the time of his encounter with the girl. Right now he is a person of interest only.
Anyone with any information on this suspect is asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP.
