Pueblo police are looking for the man seen in this surveillance picture after young girl reported being sexually assaulted in the grocery store.

A 10-year-old girl reported that a man was following her in a grocery store when she was shopping with her father. She had separated from her father while in the store to go to the bakery section when she noticed a man without groceries or a cart walking behind her. She tried to lose him by going to another aisle, but he continued following her. When it appeared he was simply going to pass her, she moved to the side of the aisle to let him go by; as he passed her, he pinched her buttocks.

The girl took off to another aisle while the man went to another, but after a couple of minutes, she encountered him again. The man ran out of the store once the girl yelled, "Daddy, there you are!"

The man has been described as being between 20-25 years old, 5-foot-10 with a skinny build. He has short brown hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a long sleeve flannel shirt with blue and white horizontal stripes, dark blue jeans and dark gray tennis shoes at the time of his encounter with the girl. Right now he is a person of interest only.

Anyone with any information on this suspect is asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP.

Jack, inappropriate touching is sexual assault. Look up the definition before you state something you don't know. She was 10! Highly unlikely she was making this up. Yeah, there is more to this story..it's called video coverage.

Isn't it sad that kids can't even go to a grocery store these days without running into whackos? I hope they get this guy off the streets real soon and throw him in the can.

Sexually assaulted? For getting her buttocks pinched? Doesn't sound like he fondled her or anything of that nature. Any child or teen could accuse any adult anywhere of something like this. Sorry, but there has to be more to this story than this.

KKTV you need to check your video links before you post them. This link goes with a different story of sexual abuse. There is no link for the grocery store tape.

I had an eye exam a few days ago, and the optometrist told me I had 20/20 vision. I am 60, so that's not bad. The man was described as wearing a flannel shirt, yet in the photo the man is NOT wearing a flannel shirt. In the description given, there was no mention of a baseball-type cap that he is clearly seen to be wearing in the photo. If this is not the man that allegedly assaulted the girl, then someone could be sued for several things. Why do the police think the man in the photo is the man who is wanted? He doesn't fit the description, does he?

Parents and guardians, you can never be "too overprotective" of your kids. There are some sicko creepazoids out there. I have two daughters myself and when I call from overseas, I always tell them to stay close to their mom when going out. I am grateful the girl didn't get hurt, much less kidnapped. And I hope the dad has learned to keep his daughter in his sights at all times, especially when shopping or going out.
