Pueblo Police Warn About Counterfeit Money

The Pueblo Police Department has received approximately 33 reports since the beginning of the year regarding counterfeit money.

Individuals and businesses are reminded to check money with a counterfeit detector pen and by looking for the metallic security strip.

If anyone has any information regarding counterfeit money, you are urged to call Pueblo Police (553-2502) or Pueblo Crime Stoppers @ 542-STOP (542-7867).

If your information leads to a felony arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
