While they were responding to a shots-fired call in an alley near Sodo Nightclub on S. Tejon, a huge fight broke out in front of officers Sunday morning.

Officers from the CSPD Gold Hill division arrived in the area at 1:37 a.m. to investigate reports of shots fired, but they were unable to find anyone related to the incident. While in the area, a "massive fight...involving baseball bats," broke out at Tejon and Moreno, an officer tells 11 News. Our 11 News crew was on scene at the time the fight broke out, and caught it on camera.

A woman, who police say was later the victim of the fight, bumped into another female while inside the club, causing a disturbance. All of the women involved were then kicked out of the club.

According to police, the victim and her friends were then confronted by the friends of the woman that the victim bumped into as they were walking to their vehicles, who accused the victim and her friends of "harassing their sister." A fight broke out in the street between the two groups, resulting in the victim being struck in the head with a baseball bat. Officers have been unable to determine which woman started the fight. No arrests have been made at this time, but police have put out a felony report with second-degree assault.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
