Police Searching For Suspects In Home Invasion

Police are searching for three men involved in a home invasion Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to a home invasion on the 1800 W. Yampa St. at 4:15 a.m. The victims told police that three men forced their front door open and ordered them to the ground. The victims were uninjured during the home invasion, and the suspects left without taking anything. The residents told police that they were new to the address, and had no idea why they would have been targets of a home invasion.

The first suspect has been described as a white male, about 6-foot-2 and heavyset. His age is unknown. He was wearing a black beanie and a black mask. The second suspect is a black male, described as thin and bald, standing about 5-foot-6. He reportedly was wearing a blue bandana over his face. No description is available for the third suspect. Police say that at least one of the suspects was armed with a shotgun.

Anyone with any information about this incident are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
