Colorado Springs police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a person of interest in connection to a murder on January 18.
An arrest was made on January 19, the day after 22-year-old Dominique Marnell Griffin was found shot to death inside an apartment. Mario Nichols, 25, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Officers now want to speak to Rashaun Demetrius Faulcon, 26, as a part of the overall investigation into the murder. Officers say that there is no probable cause to arrest Faulcon for the murder, and only want to talk to him.
Faulcon has been described as a black male, standing 6-foot-1 and weighing about 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos, including a six point star on his right wrist, the words “highly hated” tattooed to his right shoulder and “mostly loved” tattooed on his left shoulder. Faulcon has two felony warrants due to failing to register as a sex offender.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call police at 444-7000, or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP. You can also text CSPD at 847411 (TIP411).
