The Colorado Springs Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for a suspect believed to be behind four armed robberies that occurred in Colorado Springs in March.

CSPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Steve Noblitt says the suspect, who has left one victim hospitalized, is very dangerous, "this guy goes into a store, he demands cash, he's got a knife in had, and he's not afraid to use it".

The suspect is believed to be behind the March 9 robbery at the Game Stop on the 3000 block of Bloomington Street, where two employees were stabbed, one of them, multiple times. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

On March 10, police say that the same suspect entered a Walgreens store on the 300 block of N. Union and threatened an employee at knifepoint. He got away with cash from the register.

On the evening of March 12, an AT&T store on the corner of Bijou Street and North Tejon was robbed by a suspect with knife. The suspect once again threatened the clerk with his knife and left on foot with an unknown amount of money.

Police say the same suspect robbed a Springs Subway on the evening of March 14. He threatened employees with a knife and got away with cash.

Sgt. Noblitt says it's important the suspect is caught soon, "with each robbery, a person may become more brazen and get more courage, and that can cause them to do unpredictable things, so, we want to put a stop to this guy's streak before he kills somebody".

The suspect in each of these robberies was described as a white or light-skinned Hispanic man in his 20s, about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 in height. Victims have described him as being slender, with his weight estimated to be somewhere between 140 and 160 pounds. He may have facial hair.

Police say that in the Game Stop robbery, the suspect was reportedly wearing a black beanie hat, dark gray hoodie, sunglasses, and possibly blue jeans and white tennis shoes. In the Walgreens robbery, victims told police that the suspect was wearing a dark baseball cap, blue jeans, a yellow shirt and dark sweatshirt. Police say the suspect was wearing a green sweater, black pants and black aviator-style sunglasses when he robbed the Subway.

Anyone with any information about this suspect or any of these crimes is asked to call police at 444-7000. For those who wish to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers at 634-STOP or text CSPD at 847411.
