Police say they arrested the man who caused several thousand dollars worth of damage at Nazarene Bible College. Jeffrey Sweatt is now facing charges.

Cops were called out after a security guard said he could hear someone running around inside the building on the 1100 block of Academy Loop near S. Academy and Fountain Blvd.

When an offiver arrived, he says he could see the man running down the hallway swinging an object at overhead lights. The sergeant contacted the suspect from outside the glass doors that were locked and held the suspect there until other officers arrived. Officer Adam Wheeler arrived, got inside the building and arrested the suspect.

Police say Sweatt entered the building through a ground floor window.

Investigators say that he also hit another building on campus.
