Police are searching for the man responsible for shooting into storefront windows late Wednesday night.
Officers were called to Murray Boulevard just after 11 p.m. on reports of shots fired across the street from the Ramada Inn, located on the 500 block.
A witness reported seeing a man shooting into the window of a vacant business on 593 N. Murray, as well as streetlights in the parking lot of the nearby Quick Cash Pawn Store on 625 N. Murray.
Police found damaged windows at the vacant business, the pawn shop, and the Family Dollar Store just to the east of North Murray, on the 4400 block of Edison Avenue.
The witness told police that the suspect was a man, race unknown, wearing a dark shirt and a brown hat. No further suspect description is available.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at 634-STOP.
