Two suspects in a home invasion have been arrested.

According to police, the victim and his girlfriend were in their bedroom at 11 p.m. Sunday night when a former co-worker barged in, armed with a handgun. The victim was forced at gunpoint to get out of bed, and was taken to the kitchen.

The suspect, later identified as 28-year-old Gilbert Barajas, held the victim in the kitchen while a second man and a female suspect stole several items from the home, including a cell phone, computer components and electronics.

The three suspects left the East Boulder Street home, located on the east side of the Springs, in the victim's 1998 Volkswagen Passat.

Just after 2 p.m., the Passat was seen at Chelton and Bijou. Police stopped the car and identified the driver as 29-year-old Vanessa Medina, allegedly Barajas' accomplice. Barajas was found in the backseat.

Barajas and Medina were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. Police say additional felony charges will be added.

The third suspect has still not been located. A call has been placed to police for his description, and for further details about the case.
