Although a K-9 unit scoured the area, police weren’t able to find the armed suspect responsible for robbing a Vectra Bank location. Now, police have released a surveillance photo of the suspect.

Police say the man in the photo approached a teller in the Vectra Bank location at 7390 N. Academy around 1:45 p.m. on April 27. He revealed a gun and demanded money.

The manager says he was wearing a black cap that said “kings” in white lettering. The suspect was also described as a Hispanic male, who had a medium build, dark hair, dark clothing and dark sunglasses.

He left the bank on foot. Although police searched the neighborhood, they never found him.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call police at 719-444-7000 or call Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867) if you wish to remain anonymous.
