The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is searching for those involved in a possible drive-by Friday night.
At 11 p.m., deputies responded to a report of shots fired in a residential area in Salt Creek, a community in eastern Pueblo County. When investigating the scene—a home on the 1600 block of San Pedro St.—seven holes were found in the front of the home. Looking around the area further, several spent shell casings were found on the street in front of the house.
Three adults and one child were inside when the shots were fired directly at the house. The homeowner reported thinking someone was knocking hard on the front door at the time the shooting is believed to have occurred. None of the people inside at the time of the shooting, nor surrounding neighbors, saw any suspicious activity at that time.
If anyone has any information about this incident, call the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office at 583-6250, or call CRIME STOPPERS at 542-STOP.
