Police say a 54-year-old woman may be behind a shooting at a Springs apartment complex Tuesday night.
Just after 9 p.m., police responded to a shots-fired call at an apartment complex on Johanne Place, near South Nevada and Star Ranch Road. An investigation into the incident has now led officers to believe that the suspect, driving a full-size pick-up truck, intentionally hit an SUV in the parking lot. Officers say she then got out of her vehicle, fired two shots at an apartment door, then left the scene. People were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting, but no one was hurt.
An investigation into the incident is still ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
