Springs police were sent all over town early Monday morning on multiple reports of shots fired.

Though scant evidence was found in most of the cases, police have a suspect vehicle for one of the incidents. After witnesses reported hearing shots ring out at a southeast side bar shortly before 2 a.m., they tell police a car smashed through a fence as it sped away from the area.

Police found a destroyed section on fence bordering the Casa Grande Bar, located on the 2400 block of S. Academy.

One witnesses told police that several shots were fired before the car left the area.

The suspect vehicle has been described as a gold four-door sedan, possibly a Saturn. Police say there may be a couple of bullet holes on the driver's side, as well as significant damage on that same side from where the car hit the fence.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 444-7000, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
