Two people were held up at gunpoint while sitting in their car Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the suspect approached the victims at the Roy Benavidez Park near Fountain and Chelton, pulled out a gun and demanded they hand over personal items.

Afterward, the robbery suspect hopped a fence into the Western Terrace apartments and ran off. Police have not been able to locate him.

The victims described the man as Hispanic, in his 30s, wearing a blue pinstripe button-up shirt, black jeans and carrying a black duffel bag.

If you know who he is, call police or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
