Police are investigating two separate robberies that happened at convenience stores Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
The first one took place around 11:15 p.m. Saturday at the Diamond Shamrock at Montebello Drive and North Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs.
Police say the crook had a gun and demanded money from the clerk.
There isn't a good description of the suspect. He is described only as a black man, about thirty years old wearing jeans and a white t-shirt.
He reportedly got away on foot with an unknown amount of money.
The second incident happened at the 7-Eleven store located at Fountain Blvd. and Jet Wing Dr. on the opposite side of town.
During that robbery, police say a white man wearing all dark clothing walked into the store with a weapon and demanded money. He also got away with an unknown amount of cash.
The second incident happened shortly before 3:25 a.m. Sunday.
Officers searched the area in both cases, but didn't find either suspect.
