A vehicle was caught in the crossfire early Sunday morning when occupants in two cars began shooting at each other.

Two of the three occupants in the uninvolved car were injured by shattered glass as bullets knocked out the window on the front passenger side.

Police were told that people in two other vehicles were shooting at each other, and seemingly inadvertently hit the third car in the process.

The suspects had fled from the scene at Fountain and Circle prior to police arriving. Officers have no suspect information other than one suspect vehicle was red and the other was black.

Anyone with information on this incident, which occurred at 1:36 a.m., is asked to call Springs police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
