Old Colorado City Business Ransacked In Burglary

Officers dispatched to Old Colorado City on reports of damaged windows discovered evidence of a burglary Sunday morning.

The suspect entered the building through a glass window after shooting at the windowpane 14 times with a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol. The suspect then ransacked the business, Colorado Tee's on the 2500 block of West Colorado.

Police place the time of the robbery between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Sunday. At this time, there is no information about the suspect involved. Anyone with information is asked to call Springs police, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.

    So, if the other reports are correct, someone called CSPD about this around 4:30 am, and they got there close to 7:00...on a Sunday morning...with the front wondow shot out...On Colorado Ave? And they're on cold reporting with the roads fine, just frigid air today? Anyone see something wrong here?

      that is a pretty slow reaction time on the cspd side...but they probably had something else going on colorado springs is pretty big ya know..
