Man's Car Stolen, Then Set On Fire

A man is car-jacked and then less than an hour later, his car is torched.

Around 2:58 a.m., officers went to the area of Fountain Blvd. and Chelton Rd. after a man said he had just been robbed.

The victim, who said that he was parked in the parking lot of 1070 S. Chelton Rd. when he was confronted by a suspect showing a knife. The suspects, a couple, took the car and drove westbound on Fountain Blvd.

Around 3:45 a.m., the Colorado Springs Fire Dept. put out a car fire on the 4200 block of E. Pikes Peak Ave. It turned out to be the same car that had just been stolen.

The male suspect is described as a black male wearing a white hoody and blue jeans. The suspect and a female accomplice, who is described as a black female wearing a grey sweatshirt and black pants.

    So called "Nate", you spelled your own name wrong. Besides I go to work at 3am, am I up to no good? I want to know if this guy was IN the car when he was carjacked by knife... lock the door and drive away.
