Updated: 05/20/2013 - Two weekends left to catch one great show!
Police are asking for your help in locating a man who tried to rob Christal's adult-themed store late Wednesday night.
Carrying a semi-automatic handgun, the suspect entered the store just before midnight and demanded money. His efforts were unsuccessful--there was no money in the store for him to take. Once he realized he'd be leaving empty-handed, police say the suspect drove away. No one was injured.
The suspect has been described as a black man in his late 20s, 5-foot-10 with a heavy build, possibly weighing about 250 pounds. His vehicle was described as a gold or silver late-model Buick.
Christal's is located on the 3700 block of Austin Bluffs.
Anyone with information on this crime are asked to call police, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
