Police are looking for a man they say should be considered armed and dangerous.

Officers received several calls from neighbors living at the Heritage Apartments, on North Murray near Palmer Park, saying they heard gunshots around 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

Police are now looking for Antonio Pegues, 23, who they say has a gang affiliation and goes to those apartments on a regular basis. Pegues is described as a black man standing about 5-foot-9 and weighing around 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Officers say he is affiliated with the Crips gang.

No one was injured Wednesday night, but several people living in the complex say that Pegues menaced them.

Anyone with any information about this incident or Pegues’ whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.

Editor's Note: The mugshot is a couple of years old. Police remind citizens that the suspect may look different now.
