The search is on for two robbers who stole from a man using an ATM.
A third man, who police say likely drove the suspects away from the scene, was later located and arrested.
Around 11:40 p.m. Sunday, two men, clad in dark clothing and masks, held up a man using an ATM at the Wells Fargo on the 4100 block of North Academy in Colorado Springs. The suspects allegedly placed a pistol to the victim's back and demanded his money.
A witness chased the two suspects, both who managed to get away in a gray 4-door Mazda. One dropped a BB gun while fleeing the scene.
The car was later abandoned at a nearby bowling alley. The owner, Sloan Gross, was found walking near the scene of the crime, and arrested. Gross, 19, faces charges related to the robbery. Police tell 11 News they believe Gross drove the other two suspects away from the scene.
Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
