Man Arrested for Home Invasion, Burglary

Colorado Springs police say they've arrested a man for a home invasion and burglary.

Police were called to the 300 block of University Drive regarding a possible home invasion around 11 a.m. Monday. When officers arrived on scene, they took a man into custody who was seen coming out of an occupied apartment, and who they say was identified in the 911 call.

Police say the man, identified as Rarlin Barbin, was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun. He was arrested for numerous charges including First Degree Burglary. Police say the incident appears to be related to the sale and use of illegal narcotics.
