Suspect Arrested For Attacking Man and Robbing Him of $20

Police have arrested a man they say is responsible for attacking a man and robbing him of $20.

Police say it happened Sunday just after 7 p.m. at 3900 E Bijou Street at the Timberlane Apartments. The man was walking through the parking lot when police say he was confronted by 20-year-old Marquette Killingsworth, who struck the victim knocking him down and then went through his pockets taking $20.

The victim chased the suspect east to the Dove Tree Apartments. Police set up a perimeter while Canine Cole and his handler, Officer Strevett, searched to building 375, where Killingsworth was arrested and charged with robbery.

@ nofan; i know this man and he did serve his country. the truth is addiction causes people of every color, sex, ans religion to do stupid hurtful things. I hope he gets the help he needs, as for the victim stop hanging out with crackheads and you might stop being robbed.

Could you be any more ignorant?? According to you the offender served his country, so does that mean that his actions are justified because of his former military affiliation?? In one breath you say that you hope he gets the help he needs and that he has "addictions" which caused him to break the law... Does that warped sense of logic not apply to the victim? Your stupidity is overwhelming!

he'll get off. some defense liar will blame it on something from 100 years ago.i say no fan cuz it sure seems like a vertical market. if your skin is rite color or you come from some deprived background well then you're entitled to get stuff that isn't yours. i'd say for this group go in the service of our country but legitimate men and women who serve proudly wouldn't tolerate this group, why should the rest of us???/

What a loser. Now we have to pay for this uneducated, uncivilized waste of oxygen while he hangs with his friends in jail/prison. Wish that victim would have had his concealed weapons permit and done away with this loser.

I am not surprised about the robbery in that area of town. I am surprised that someone in that area had $20.00.
