A man who pleaded guilty to peeping on people in the shower was sentenced Monday to four years probation.

The prosecution had requested a sentence of four years in prison for Andrew Browning, but the judge opted for the lesser sentence of probation instead.

In February, Browning pleaded guilty to felony charges of burglary and invasion of privacy for purposes of sexual gratification.

Last fall, a Colorado College student caught Browning crouched by a shower stall, videoing someone in the shower.

Browning was also accused of trying to steal a student's laptop.

Browning was arrested after campus police released surveillance pictures of him.
