Man Hospitalized After Shooting

Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a shots-fired call on the 2000 block of South Academy Boulevard around 3 a.m. They say when they arrived, they found a man who had been shot.

According to police, the man was taken to the hospital, but his injuries are non-life-threatening.

Several shell casings were found at the scene.

Police say they are still investigating and there is no suspect description at this time.
