Suspects trapped a man in his own driveway, then beat him with their guns.

Officers in Pueblo tracked down the suspects' car, but say both men remain at large.

The assault happened in broad daylight. Just before 10 a.m. Wednesday, the 52-year-old was pulling into his driveway on the 2200 block of Rice Avenue. A dark-colored Acura followed him into the driveway, blocking him in. Two masked suspects emerged from the car and started attacking him. Police say the suspects beat the homeowner with the back ends of a shotgun and handgun, then punched him with their fists. The victim suffered minor injuries.

The suspect vehicle was later found almost two miles away on Berkley Avenue, but the occupants were long gone. Central High School was put on lockdown while officers searched vacant homes in the area.

The suspects are both described as Hispanic men dressed in white shirts and blue jeans, ages unknown. The first suspect is reportedly 5-foot-9 and has short dark wavy hair. The second suspect is described as being slightly shorter, about 5-foot-7, with short dark hair.
