Liquor Store Robbed By Man Armed With Rock

A rock was used as a weapon in a liquor store robbery Monday night. The suspect escaped despite a search involving both officers and K-9 units.

Police say the robbery occurred at the Ruskin Liquor store at 3960 Airport Road around 8:53 p.m. Monday. No one was injured, but the suspect threatened the clerk with the rock and demanded money.

The suspect was described as a black male in his late 30’s to mid 40’s. He was about 5’10 to 5’11 with a medium build, black hair, and a mustache.

If anyone has information about this robbery they can call police at 444-7000 or you can remain anonymous by texting CSPD and your tip to 847411.
