Police in Fountain say they've arrested three people in a kidnapping and attempted murder case from August. Two of the men arrested are adults, the other is a juvenile. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office assisted in the arrests.
Investigators identify the suspects as Tanner Humphreys, 18, and Percy Drake, 21.
The suspects, two adults and one minor, were arrested on charges of attempted second degree murder, second degree kidnapping, second degree assault, second degree aggravated motor vehicle theft, and second degree arson. Detectives say they found the victim, after they were allegedly tossed out of a car on August 21, in the 6000 block of Southmoor Drive in Fountain. They suffered minor injuries.
Some friends of the victim reported the crime, from a home on the 6000 block of Provincial Drive. The witnesses told police their guest was assaulted, but the guest was no longer at the residence. That's when police responded to a report of someone tossed from a car on Southmoor.
