A judge has ruled that there is enough evidence against an accused 211 gang member for him to go to trial.

James Lohr

James Lohr, accused 211 gang member who was listed as a person of interest in the killing of Tom Clements because of his known association with Evan Ebel, appeared in a Colorado Springs courtroom Thursday to face felony charges against him.

Lohr was facing several charges, including vehicular eluding, possession of a weapon by previous offender and tampering with physical evidence.

The judge ruled Thursday that there is enough evidence against Lohr for him to go to trial on all three of those charges.

In court, officers with both the Colorado Springs Police Department and the El Paso County Sheriff's Department gave testimony regarding a police chase involving the defendant, as well as the retrieval of a gun from his possession.

Lohr's defense asked the judge to limit pre-trial publicity of this case in an effort to protect his client.

Lohr is being held on a $250,000 bond. His arraignment is set for May 30.
