Multiple shots were fired in a northeast Springs neighborhood overnight, one striking a home.

A witness reported seeing a dark-colored 4-door sedan speed away after hearing seven shots go off.

Police responded to the 4100 block of Undimmed Circle, located near North Carefree and Oro Blanco, where they discovered five .45 caliber shell casings. One home was also hit by what police believe was a bullet.

Only 11 News talked to the family that lives in the home. They told us they’re still a little shaken up. Their daughter heard the shots, but by the time they looked out the window, no one was there.

The bullet hit the front of their home. The family said that bullet didn't go through into their home, but the thought is pretty frightening.

The family told us they just moved into the home in June from another part of the Springs. They are surprised that something like this would happen in their new neighborhood. Thankfully, no one was injured.
