Police are searching for three home invasion suspects in Pueblo Wednesday evening.

Investigators say a man was assaulted in his front yard, in the 700 block of E. 1st Street. The crime did involve a gun, but there were no serious injuries, according to police.

After the assault, two men went into the home and brought out a safe or lock box. All three men, described as wearing ski masks and hoodies, ran down an alley on foot.

Police tried to track the men down with a K-9 unit, but weren't successful.
