Police say a man approached two teenage girls at the Wildflower Park near Jetwing and Fountain on the southeast side of Colorado Springs.
Investigators don't believe the incident is connected to any other stranger danger or attempted kidnapping case, but say it's good for both kids and parents to stay vigilant.
Police say the two teens were playing tennis in this park when they were approached by a man in his late 30s asking if he could join them. It was just before 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
They say the girls decided to leave, but as they walked out of the tennis court, the man stretched out his hand and asked how they were doing. While police are calling this a suspicious circumstance, they say this man didn't do anything against the law.
The man was last seen walking away from the area, and was not found after a search of the neighborhood.
Police encourage all parents to talk to their kids about stranger danger and what to do if they are ever in an uncomfortable situation.
