Colorado Springs police are investigating a robbery at a Game Stop on 1908 Southgate Road.
Police say the man entered the store just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday night and pretended to be a customer. After waiting for other customers to leave the business, the suspect approached the victims, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the register.
During the course of the robbery, two additional customers entered the business. The suspect verbally confronted both of them.
The store’s employees complied with the suspect’s demands by providing him with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then casually left the business and fled the area on foot.
Officers conducted a search of the area but they were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male, early to mid 20’s, approximately 5’09” tall, thin build, wearing a black beanie (which did not cover his face), a white shirt, and dark colored jeans.
