Five Arrested In Fremont County Crime Spree

Five men have been arrested in connection with a crime spree in Fremont County.

Police are hoping that the arrests will solve the thirteen burglaries and thefts in the county that extend back to August 1. The crime spree involved several car thefts, burglaries of vehicles, and a series of completed and attempted burglaries.

The five arrested are all in their late teens and are being held at the Fremont County Detention Center. Ralph Sanders, 18, has been charged with second degree burglary, violation of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act, aggravated motor vehicle theft and first degree criminal trespassing. Sanders is being held on $50,000 bond.

Carlos Sanchez Cruze, 19, is being charged with theft by receiving and violation of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act. He is being held on $15,000 bond.

Dalton Buckholtz, 18, is being charged with second degree burglary, first degree criminal trespass and violation of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act. He is being held on $35,000 bond.

Cory Cockerman, 18, is being charged with second degree burglary, first degree criminal trespass and violation of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act. He is being held on $35,000 bond.

Chase Schamp, 18, has been charged with first degree criminal trespass and violation of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act. He is being held on $10,000 bond.

Police believe there may be more suspects in the crime spree, and anticipate more arrests.
