Crook Holds Up Local Market

Police are looking for a man who pulled a gun on a checker, then stole cash from the register.

It happened shortly after noon Saturday at the Carniceria Leonella on E. Pikes Peak Ave. near S. Academy.

The suspect is described as a black man, about 5'8" tall with a medium build. He was wearing dark clothing at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call crimestoppers at 634-STOP. You don't have to give your name, and you could earn a cash reward.
