A convenience store in Colorado Springs was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night. Police are still looking for the suspect.
Officers say they were sent to the Diamond Shamrock at 2455 Arlington Dr. around 11:00 p.m. They found that the lone man had entered the store with a large handgun and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'7" to 5'9" tall with a medium build. He was wearing all dark clothing to include a hooded sweatshirt.
The man got some cash and ran out of the store northbound. Officers say they checked the area, but didn’t find the suspect.
Anyone with any information on any of the burglaries is asked to contact police, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
