The Colorado Springs Police Department released surveillance photos Tuesday of two people suspected of a number of recent car burglaries.
Investigators believe the man and woman pictured broke into cars in the Garden of the Gods area.
The first of two reported incidents happened on August 31. Police say the suspects took three purses that were left in a car parked at Garden of the Gods. According to police the man and woman in the pictures were seen sitting in a light colored sedan in the same parking lot just before the burglary.
The second crime happened on September 11. Police said the suspects again used several stolen credit cards to make purchases before the victims could cancel the cards.
The victims’ credit cards were used to make fraudulent purchases in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
